CPA — Certified Public Accountant

The globally recognised credential for accounting professionals, delivered with expert guidance in Amman and online

The Gold Standard in Accounting

The US CPA designation is the most widely recognised accounting credential in the world. Whether you practise in Amman, Dubai, Riyadh or internationally, the CPA opens doors to audit, tax, advisory and corporate finance roles that demand verified expertise.

Euro Arab Group delivers a structured CPA review programme that covers all four exam sections with experienced instructors, proven study materials and a study plan built around working professionals in the MENA region.

Why the CPA Matters in MENA

  • Required or preferred by the Big Four, multinational banks and regulatory bodies across the GCC
  • Demonstrates mastery of US GAAP, auditing standards, tax regulation and business law
  • Average salary premium of 15-25% over non-certified peers in comparable roles
  • Portable across borders — recognised in over 40 mutual recognition agreements worldwide
  • Pathway to senior roles: audit partner, CFO, controller, financial advisory director

Eligibility Requirements

CPA eligibility varies by US state board, but most candidates from MENA pursue licensure through states with accessible requirements for international applicants. Common prerequisites include:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree with at least 120 semester hours (150 hours for licensure in most states); must include a specified number of accounting and business credits
  • Credential evaluation: International degrees must be evaluated by a NASBA-approved service (such as WES, ECE or NIES)
  • English proficiency: All exam content is in English; no separate language test is required but strong reading comprehension is essential
  • Experience: Many states require 1-2 years of supervised accounting experience for licensure (not for sitting the exam)

Our advisers help you identify the right state board, prepare your credential evaluation and navigate the Notice to Schedule (NTS) process from start to finish.
